All your financial data is stored locally on your device only.
We do not use any advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) backup is opt-in only.
You can delete all your data from Settings at any time.
MoneySaving is a personal finance app that helps you track savings goals, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. We are committed to being fully transparent about what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Goal names, target amounts, saved amounts, currencies, target dates, icons, and deposit/withdrawal/transfer records you create inside the app. This data is stored only on your device using encrypted MMKV storage.
Your name, monthly income, monthly savings target, age range, work status, spending habits, and financial goals you enter during onboarding. This is stored locally to personalize your experience.
Theme mode (light/dark), language preference, biometric lock setting, notification preferences, and auto-backup toggle. All stored locally on your device.
If you enable push notifications, we schedule local reminders for your savings goals. These are processed entirely on-device using the Notifee library. No notification data is sent to any server.
MoneySaving does not connect to any bank, payment processor, or financial institution. We never ask for or store bank account numbers, card details, or PINs.
We do not request or collect your GPS location at any time.
We do not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any other analytics service. Your usage patterns are never tracked.
The app only accesses your photo library if you choose to set a custom icon for a savings goal. This is entirely optional and the image stays on your device.
If you enable backup on iOS, your data is saved to your personal iCloud Drive account. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud storage.
If you enable backup on Android, your data is saved to your personal Google Drive account using the Google Drive API. This requires Google Sign-In. The backup file is stored in your own Drive and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not store your Google credentials.
You can also export your data as a JSON file to your device's local storage or share it via any app. This file contains all your goals and transaction history in plain text — keep it secure.
If you enable the App Lock feature, the app uses your device's built-in biometric system (Face ID on iOS, Fingerprint on Android). Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's secure enclave and is never accessible to us or transmitted anywhere.
All app data is stored using MMKV, a high-performance key-value storage library with AES encryption. Your data is encrypted at rest on your device.
MoneySaving does not operate any backend servers. There is no user account system, no login to our servers, and no data transmitted to us at any point.

MoneySaving is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address it.
You can permanently delete all your data at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete All Data. This action is irreversible.
You can export all your data as a JSON file from Settings → Backup & Data → Backups → Export. You own your data completely.
You can turn off push notifications at any time from Settings → Notifications or from your device's system settings.
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device. Cloud backups (if created) remain in your iCloud or Google Drive until you delete them manually.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
